This site is aimed at showing the shocking service of Core in South Africa. Core is the distributor of Apple products in South African and charges in excess of 25% more than retail prices in the rest of the world. I think it is important to mention that this site is not aimed to take a militant stance and ruin Core’s dealership with Apple and in fact is quite the opposite. The aim is to get Apple to realise what is going on in South Africa and give Core a good speaking to but still allow Core to continue their business. As a capitalist I realise that Core is more than within their rights to make a profit but it does not explain the massive price differences of over 25 percent (sometimes upwards of seven thousand rand or more than the bulk of the population makes in a month) in comparison to retail prices.
